Frequently Asked Questions

GENERAL PLATFORM & VALUE PROPOSITION:

Q1: What is Check-in Hub?

Check-in Hub is a digital visitor guide and local discovery app. It sits right inside partner accommodation properties to connect travellers with local spots to eat, play, shop, and explore during their stay, replacing clunky paper folders and endless web searches with one simple app.

Q2: Who is Check-in Hub designed for?

It is built for holidaymakers, business travellers, families, and visitors who are actively staying in local accommodation and want trusted local recommendations right when they need them.

Q3: How does Check-in Hub reach travellers?

Travellers open the app by scanning an in-room QR code provided by their accommodation partner or downloading it when they arrive, putting your business right in front of ready-to-spend visitors at the exact moment they are deciding where to go.

Q4: What destinations are available through Check-in Hub?

We are currently building our foundational directory for our very first regional rollout spanning from Coolangatta to Burleigh Heads. Following this initial launch, we plan to expand into other key Australian tourism destinations where accommodation providers and local businesses partner with us.

Participating businesses across dining, health and beauty, services, retail, and shopping actively invite all of their customers—whether they are locals or tourists—to download the app at the point of sale. This engages local residents and helps every participating business become part of an interconnected local loyalty ecosystem.

ADVERTISER OBJECTIONS & COMMON QUESTIONS:

Q36: Will you be getting more accommodation on board?

Yes. We are constantly signing up new hotels, resorts, motels, and holiday parks. As our network grows across the region, your business gets put in front of even more incoming guests.

Q37: What happens to my advertising cost when Check-in Hub rolls out across the entire Gold Coast?

Your ongoing price stays protected as we grow. When we finish our full Gold Coast rollout, your rate for the next billing period will only go up by a capped, predictable 50%. That means you get access to a much bigger regional audience without getting hit by massive price jumps.

Q38: Why should I commit or pay prior to the app being fully live in the app stores?

Building a secure app that meets Apple and Google’s strict rules takes a lot of upfront work in coding and design, which we have already paid for and completed. Right now, we are in the crucial stage of building out our local business directory before we push the app live to our accommodation partners. Getting in now locks your spot in from day one of the official launch, rather than trying to squeeze in after the doors are already open.

Q39: Why should I pay now given that spaces are limited?

On top of securing your spot before launch, we strictly limit how many businesses we let into each category so you do not have to fight local competitors for attention. Because space is capped, early spots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Q40: Why would visitors use Check-in Hub instead of just searching on Google or asking an AI assistant?

Our high-visibility messaging across property foyers, in-room displays, digital folders, and guest smart TVs lets every traveller know that Check-in Hub is the best available resource built specifically for them. It gives them everything they need—special deals, exclusive perks, and local tips on where to go and what to do—all in one easy app.

While travellers often default to Google or AI out of habit because there hasn’t been a dedicated local alternative, those tools fall short for a few big reasons:

A real tourist guide, not just paid ads: Google local search is crowded with paid ads and big chains that outspend everyone else, while AI can be out of date. Check-in Hub is a proper tourist info service first and foremost, giving visitors honest details on free local spots like scenic walks and public parks alongside everything else.

Exclusive rewards and perks: Google and AI can give you information, but they cannot give you an exclusive discount or a free drink voucher. Check-in Hub pairs helpful local tips with real, app-only savings that give people a strong reason to visit your business.

Built for ease instead of endless searching: When people use Google, they have to do all the hard work themselves by opening endless tabs and scrolling through noise. Check-in Hub is purpose-built to make travel effortless using our simple motto: Find, Save, Relax.

Trusted by the accommodation provider: Because our app is promoted right inside the room where guests are staying, they know it is a trusted local tool built specifically for their trip, free from the commercial clutter of open web search.
